Young People's Future Jobs Fund
Section: Programmes (Youth)
If you are 16 to 18 years of age, we have a new programme that finds you jobs and matches your skills to what local employers are looking for!
The Youth Jobs Hub is funded by South Lanarkshire Council and operated by Employment Enterprise.
We have a number of Job Brokers who are currently negotiating with Employers, finding out what kinds of people they need - then we find the people!
it is aimed at young people who feel they are ready for a job and who would have otherwise entered employment, but for the current economic downturn.
The employer can claim up to 50% wage subsidy for each young person they take on and employ on a full-time basis, for a minimum period of 1 year.
If you want to get involved as a company or a young person looking for work, contact our Job Brokers and register your interest. They will be delighted to hear from you and help solve any issues so that you can get involved.
