Find a Job Here!!!

The Youth Jobs Fund is funded by South Lanarkshire Council and operated by Employment Enterprise.

The fund is aimed at 16 and 17 year olds who feel they are job ready and live in South Lanarkshire.

We have a number of Job Brokers who are currently negotiating with Employers, finding out what kinds of people they need - then we find the people!

Youth Jobs Fund has now been running since November 2009. We have successfully placed over 80 young people into work, most of whom are being offered SVQ level 2 and above!

We have had great feedback from employers. The young people we have placed have been enthusiastic, motivated and hard working.

They have proven that with a little help they can make a positive impact in the labour market and, most importantly, realise their potential.

We still have plenty of places left on Youth Jobs Fund and need employers to take willing, able and enthusiastic young people and in return we will pay half the young persons salary for up to 50 weeks!
