Moving On to a day of celebration
Seven candidates from Employment Enterprise's Moving On programme will celebrate their success this Thursday in a graduation ceremony at The Bentley Hotel in Motherwell.

The participants, all of whom are from disadvantaged areas of North Lanarkshire, have overcome significant barriers to work including lone parenting, long term unemployment and health problems.

However, after spending much of the past year in the salaried employability programme, all seven have recently completed SVQs and some have already secured full-time jobs.

Thursday's ceremony will celebrate their achievements and will see the participants joined by Moving On's backers, including representatives from Scottish Enterprise Lanarkshire, the North Lanarkshire Partnership and several work placement providers.
