In our August 2008 video, 17-year-old Karl Boland from Newmains talks about his job as an apprentice mechanic. Karl works for DB Auto Repairs, a family business run by his brother and his uncle. He is in the second year of a four-year apprenticeship and, with the help of his Aftercare mentor Kate, is working towards qualifications including his MOT certificate.
