The WFF programme was designed to improve access to employment and training opportunites for unemployed residents of South Lanarkshire.
The WFF programme operated from 2006 to 2009 and was very successful in engaging with, and progressing, residents of South Lanarkshire towards employment.
Our current Move on Up and Steps to Employment programmes were instigated to meet the demand from local residents for dedicated employability training that actually met their needs and was focused on helping them to progress.
Over the course of the WFF programme, our staff worked with more than 300 individuals from South Lanarkshire and produced a progression to Employment rate of 70%.
