About Us
Employment Enterprise is a training and consultancy organisation based in Motherwell, Scotland.
We provide entry level skills training for people who are out of work and find them employment. We also work alongside other training providers and employers to ensure that young people, who are new to the workforce, develop the vital skills to sustain their employment in the long term.
What we do
Our company was established in April 2003 and works in partnership with several funding bodies, companies and councils across the Scottish Central Belt. We are an employer intermediary, which means we are one of a very small number of employment training providers in Scotland who can put jobseekers directly in touch with potential employers.
Our clients – Employers and Employees
Employment Enterprise has two very distinct types of client:
- Employers - who know that we can provide them with trained and motivated staff, minimising the risk and expense of the recruitment process.
- Employees - who receive our expert training and guidance, preparing them for the workplace and equipping them with the skills to achieve sustainable employment.
Funding our beliefs
We are funded by organisations who believe in what we are trying to do. Specifically, this means providing social, economic and cultural inclusion for the 21% of Scottish adults - 600,000 people – who are economically inactive and whose potential is being ignored.
How we achieve our aims
We have a proven ability to win and deliver major contracts to a very high standard, satisfying the conditions and targets set by our funders. Our success has seen our staff numbers increase from 3 to 15 in just four years. The following case study highlights why our company, and our reputation, have grown so impressively.
